HP-GL Hewlett Packard Graphics Language. This language allows HP printers to send and receive information to/from the PC or application.
HTML Hypertext Markup Language. This is the programming language of the Internet. Web browsers decipher HTML code into the pictures, colors and text you see on a web page. Other variations and modified languages exist, including XML.
HTTP Hypertext Transfer Protocol. As FTP exists for file transfers, HTTP is a transfer protocol for moving the data on web pages from the server (or host) to your PC's browser.
Hz Hertz. Operating frequency of a PC component. CPU's and memory are measured in hertz; MHz or megahertz, and GHz or gigahertz are used to measure the speed of these devices.
